The 2023 American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Regional Student Conference took place at UB on 31 March - 1 April.
Undergraduate student Alexa Schultz did a great job presenting her paper "Comparison of Capture Quality Indices for Net-Based Capture of Zenit-2 Rocket" and won 2nd place in the Undergraduate Student Paper Competition. She was awarded a certificate, will receive a cash prize, and her paper will be published. Congratulations, Alexa!
Achira Boonrath, Haley Parker and Alexa from the UB SSDC Lab (see picture below) also helped organize, run, and attended the conference, which was a success.
